I agree that the DCs seemed to not do as good a job as Weinmanns; slightly squishier and less firm..This is of course with both being EXTREMELY carefully set up, housing cut just so and fully prepped, greased, everything just right...... I always attributed that difference to maybe tighter pivots but I have no real idea. Maybe it is in the brake lever? Where are those Richard Jow comparison charts now when we need em? (Whatever happened to Richard Jow?) Did the DiaCompe CP/Weinmann copy that little linking "finger" in between the caliper arms that Weinmann had? Seems like they did not... Not that it should make any difference in braking feel or efficiency..............
