Hello everyone, here's an unusual old book that i just found. Let me know if it's not as rare as I think it is. It's called "50 Years of Schwinn-Built Bicycles". It is published in 1945, and is hardcover. It's full of pictures and drawings of Schwinn bikes from 1895 and 1945, with lots of side-by-side comaparisons of how each line has changed over 50 years. Also lots of side-by-side pics of the factory floor, showing the paint room, brazing room, put-together room, etc. Lots of detailed pics of the top-o-line items such Paramount-specific parts, etc. Also lots of history about Schwinn and it's contribution to bicycles and our way of life. Lots of pics of trophies, all the folks who have won races on Schwinns, and a pasted-in copy of the "Schwinn Lifetime Warranty". On the inside is signed "Fleda Francis Ochsner, 12 July 1947". I do not know if this is direct from the Ochsner family. The condition of the book is excellent. Inside, all pages are complete, untorn and unstained, with perfect binding. Outside, the upper-right corners of the hardcover have been "banged", so that they crushed up a bit. Over 90 pages. $150 shipped
