Alright kids, I've given up on the tubular tire thing so I figured I'd pass along my misery...um, tires...on to someone else. Here's what I've got: (all the tires hold air). 1) new-never-glued Michelin Liberty tire - overall a pretty decent inexpensive tire. stretched for at least 6 months on a rim - a bit dusty. 1) new-never-glued Gita Pronto tire - basic cheap tubular. stretched for at least 6 months on a rim, dusty too. 1) used Continential Sprinter 250 - not in the best condition, but would make a decent spare *WARNING* I used Fast Tack to glue this tire and in light of the recent Fast Tack/Continential thread, I thought you should know this (base tape seems to be holding up well). 1) partial tube of Fast Tack - use at your own risk - see the thread from a week or two ago. 1) patch kit with salvaged base tape, thread & needle, patches etc.

All this can be yours for the low, low price of $35 shipped. BUT, I'd rather trade for a Mavic MA40 rim 36h, hard anodized - will consider other good clincher rims. Any takers? Byron Morton Nashville TN
