I am afraid I must get in on this one. Most of the shimmy incidences I have seen are consistent with E-Richie's, If it has anything to do with geometry, it is about a bike that does not fit the rider, and has too much bike in front, not enough weight on the front Wheel. This is a fit issue. The business of alignment exacerbating it by being "too straight" does not take into consideration issues like road crown. I do not believe that there is a standard explanation anyway, it has to vary with each circumstance due to bike fit, road conditions, etc. Dave Tesch
