Chuck, you are correct. Around 1983 Campy simply deleted the "Brev. Camp." (or whatever) marking on the cable holder-thingy. The change coincided with the intro of script logo calipers. The older levers are MUCH harder to find. BC at Renaissance charged me a fair $45 for a pair of handles and sold me a set of unmarked ones for $20. The later SR levers are abundant (hoods aside) because so many were dumped in favor of aero levers. At least that's my theory. The Victory came along a couple years after the newer SR handle, and was different in that it had a shield logo (a la C-record) instead of the vertical "CAMPAGNOLO" in block letters. Tom Dalton

I loved finding that one out! (The difference Wayne mentioned is that the little aluminum barrel that is the pivoting cable end holder in the side of the lever doesn't have any lettering engraved on it on the Victory lever. The Super Record lever has it. I always thought that Campagnolo just stopped putting the lettering on the Super Record lever!)
