Since I'm not at home and don't have examples or my 18 and 18bis catalogs in from of me, and just relying on memory (dangerous at the best of times), I still think the first Victory levers were almost identical to SR levers (CAMPAGNOLO in block letters, not shield; drilled/perforated lever arms) with the primary difference being what Chuck described ("pivoting cable end holder in the side of the lever doesn't have any lettering engraved on it"). Indeed, they were probably "decedents" of the SR levers as Campy shifted bits down the food chain.
If I recall correctly, my point with Chuck at the time was Victory levers being represented/misrepresented as SR.
But, hey, what do I know? I'm still learning!
On a related topic (and thanks to Tom), I have taken pictures of the three generations of S-Rec seat posts as a side-by-side comparison. I'll try and load the pics tonight and post the link.
