CONSTRICTOR ASP 27 x 1 1/4in RIMS 32/40H A really lovely pair of these distictive U shaped aluminium rims ideal for any 40-60s British road bike. The rear rim has a very minimum amount of rim wear - its very difficult to see whilst the front has more wear but has many miles of life in it yet and is not disfiguring at all. Both are flat and do not have any dents. $135

HARDEN GEAR/FIXED HUBSET 32/40H - an excellent pair of Harden hubs which have the very desirable threads for a multiple speed freewheel on one side of the rear hub and a single fixed sprocket on the other side of the rear hub. They are an ideal match for the rims above. Harden hubs are some of the best and easiest rolling hubs ever made in England. Harden hubs were manufactured in Britain between 1946 and about 1954. They use annular cartridge bearing ball races which are easily replaced when worn. The races are a standard Imperial size and can be obtained from any bearing merchant. The ones in the rear hub have been replaced whilst those in the front are excellent. The hubs are in very good condition - there a very few small marks on the alloy. The spoke holes have not been enlarged by loose spokes or being redrilled. The threads on the hub are in perfect condition. I rate these hubs as being the very best ever made in Britain. $175

LYOTARD 460D ALLOY RATTRAP PEDALS NOS in perfect condition. $40

LYOTARD MB23 MARCEL BERTHET PLATFORMP PEDALS NOS in perfect condition, British threads $65

1930s/50s RALEIGH BELL A lovely and very good condition large Raleigh Industries bell from probably the period between the 1930s and 1950s. The chrome has some light scratches. $25

COLNAGO TOE STRAP BUTTON/PULL pr NOS $5

DE ROSA TOE STRAP BUTTON/PULL pr NOS $5

PEUGEOT TOE STRAP BUTTON/PULL pr NOS $5

AVA HANDLEBAR STEM c1938-9 6.5cm This was one of the very first aluminiuim handlebar stems made available. The extension appears to be a press fit on the quill. There are no cracks and only a few minor scratches. It fits English sized forks perfectly. $55

GB MAES BARS WITH HIGHLY ENGRAVED WIDE CENTRE SECTION from the 1960s/70s. A little light scoring where the stem clamp goes but otherwise none, excellent condition $45

BROOKS B17 HONEY COLOURED SWALLOW SADDLE NOS from one of the batches made in the 1980s or 90s. Identical to the one I¹ve just sold on Ebay See item number 2116608233 for picture $125

WEINMANN ALESA ALUMINIUM 27 x 1 1/4in rims 32/40H Excellent used condition, minimal brake surface wear, no dents $65

WEINMANN 16 x 1 3/8in ALUMINIUM rims 36/36H NOS $45

CAMPAGNOLO NUOVO RECORD REAR GEAR 1972 very good/excellent condition complete with its original box. The only marks of significance are on top of the top pivot arm where there are light marks made from contact with the nut end of a Q/R but these are very light and hardly show. The rest of the alloy parallelogram body is virtually unmarked and the pulleys only show signs of very light wear. $65

HINDS 20in FRAME, probably late 1960s, Nervex Pro lugs, Campag long ends, 21in top tube and a lovely wrapover seat stay top. This frame is nicely detailed and was almost certainly built by Bill Grey. Bill Grey was chief foreman framebuilder at Claud Butlers in the 1940s and 50s and built most of their SWB tandems. He went onto build frames for Hinds in the 60s. This frame has been refinished in red flam enamel with some transfers and has Campag down tube bosses which were probably added later. The paint is in generally very good condition but there there are some marks and one touch up. Rather than the correct transfers some ³supplied by² Hinds transfers have been fitted to head and seat. I can get at extra cost the correct down tube transfer and a replica of the head for buyer. $165

PROTAR TEAM RALEIGH PANASONIC MODEL KIT - slightly scruffy box but appears to be all there and no bits are unpacked etc. For those who are not aware of these kits they are metal and plastic and fully detailed with rubber tyres etc. $30
