'dormant' is the legal term in the UK for a company that's being kept registered, but isn't operating as such. Normally done because the owners are protecting the company name, assets or intellectual property for whatever reason. They can't have any accounting transactions or for that matter paid employees so they can't trade normally as a company. GB Cycle Components are registered but are shown as "dormant" and whilst the "registered" address still exists, there's no reason to assume they still use it. I live close by a 12 x 12 office that has over 100 businesses registered at that location - how do they get them all in ? do they have timeshare on the desk/chair/photocopier ? and where do they park their 'classic' bikes (classic content)
