Ah non, monsieur, I think only zee housings were made from zee aluminium. I have a set on zee 18-pound Raleigh 753 Team Pro. Zee aluminium, she was not enough, how you say, strong in zat diameter for zee cable loads on a bicyclette. Zee cables were steel.
