I saw a picture of Coppi in action at a bike shop on Valencia Street in SF
last evening. The front brake is clearly on the right and the brakes are
clearly Universal side pulls. The line of the brake cable like that never
bothered me and it was apparently good enough for Coppi and Merckx. The other
interesting thing about the bike was the chrome seat lug. Could that be one
of the Faliero built Bianchis?
