Jim was really there, and remembers almost everything (and I'm learning a lot from him). What he says is true as far as it goes, I'm sure, but not complete, since there was another Crescent (Sweden) line, too. I have very fond memories of high-class All (?) Campy Crescents. There was one in Corvallis, OR when we lived there, that we used to mock because it looked "snaggle-toothed": The lower head Nervex lug was split in the center, showing an amusing gap. Worked fine, but definitely "production", not "custom."
