For anyone new to the thrill of the hunt or just as a way to usually find some parts at bargain prices, just follow Chuck's advise - go to places that have related items and usually something neat will appear. Some of you know that I have some British sports cars and have restored many too. I go to hot rod swaps, muscle car swaps, any automotive swap and without fail come home with some neat vintage British stuff for very low prices. I also have been going to a local motorcycle swap here in Northern CT for about 2 years now and have picked up a few neat bikes and some nice literature too. No, I haven't found a Masi or the like but a nice Atala this past spring, a mini Peugeot "racing" bike (24" wheeled UO-8), and numerous bike boom bikes with French handlebars/stems/Mafac's/Simplex/waterbottle cages/Carlton hoods/etc.
Try it, your bound to find something of value to you at a low, low price! I find it fun, relaxing and never knowing whats around the next corner, exciting.
.....or, just come to Larz and buy some parts from me......

\r?\n> I used to go to Wiz-ins (motorized bicycle collectors) and would always
\r?\n> find a lightweight racing bike part or two, and no other people looking
\r?\n> for the stuff I was trying to find. Good place to look once in a while...
