it didn't come that way from the shop. it wouldn't come that way from the shop. no framebuilders did their own painting; ALL painting was farmed out. yes, there are 2-3 exceptions to this...
the issue begs the question: why did the client and/or his mechanic 'leave' paper inside the frame? e-RICHIE
