This bike belongs to a friend, I've seen it an can answer questions. Sorry,
no pictures available right now. 60cm c-to-t. Top tube is 56cm c-to-c.
Universal 68 brakes, rubber hoods for levers are shot. High flange NR hubs
with Rigida 1320 blue label clincher rims. 1970 NR rear derailleur and
matching front. Shift levers are the later ones (clamp on) with the plastic
insert, not the metal washer. Black SL pedals with the usual scrapes. 170
Campy cranks. Record steel head set. Flat top red Silca pump with Campy metal
head. TTT bars. Red paint, decent shape, some chips and nicks, mostly on the
stays. Semi-sloping fork crown. 1010 drop outs with eyes. The seat post is
weird. It's a 27.0 campy that was turned down to a smaller size (apparently a
little too small) and then knurled to make it a little larger. It works, but
if it was mine, I'd replace it with one the right size. One pair of bottle
braze ons, top of shell bz's and stay cable stop. All else is clamp on.
It's a nice riding bike and deserves a good home. The owner is asking $640,
considering B.O. If in doubt, make an offer.
