I'm assembling a nice, classic, town/commuter bike, using what I have always called "mixte bars" - the lightly curved upright bars that were frequently to be found on Peugeot mixtes. For commute/town bikes, I prefer an upright position, for comfort and mutual visibility.... plus, upright bars with bar-end shifters work delightfully well.
I'm in need of some brake levers. Weinmann and DiaCompe made appropriate ones -- I'd prefer Weinmann, or another Euro brand, if there is one, but I'd probably settle for DC's. If I recall, some of the Peugeots had steel levers -- those would be fine. I'd need the levers to be complete, with clamps, and ideally with those little housing end titties, too, though I might have some of them.
Please drop me a line if you can help.
Cheers,
