We sold a small dose of Romanis in the late 1970s. I have a brochure somewhere (Although it's not much!) I cannot remember the importer but I think someone in New York...
They were inexpensive relative to other makes available at that time but actually not bad at all performance wise. We had a number of "financially challenged" team members racing them, including our popular James Brown, "the hardest working man in the Peleton" who won the Carolina Cup one year astride his Romani.
I recall, at that time, " the word was" they were making those Italian Palo Alto frames...
