Today I bought a long sought after circa 1935 Alvin Drydale six day frame with most of the parts. It was built for Louie Cohen, a pro six day rider based at the Coney Island Velodrome. I bought if from a fellow named Milt Levine who also raced as an amateur at Coney Island and bought the bike in 1938.
Does anyone know anything about Louie Cohen? Milt says he won 6 days in Manchester, England and Buffalo NY. Any dates or other wins would be of interest.
Milt also has a Colnago road bike and a Cuevas track bike for sale. They are small sizes (around 54cm) and not cheap. I will post details later and I took pictures.
