For whatever it's worth, I have a set from the late '60s that is different than the ones Hilary is selling. This set says Christophe in very small letters (maybe 3mm high, max) and it's orientation is perpendicular to the manner in which the lettering is oriented on Hilary's clips. They also have a single letter size indication (e.g. "D" for demi/small) beneath the Christophe lettering. Also, I have a couple of sets (size medium) with lettering similar to Hilary's set but the word "Special" is omitted. Perhaps that's because there simply isn't enough room for the entire logo on the medium and small pedals. I can't give any exact dates, though. Best regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
