If you have the new stuff, then you don't fall into the "new BOB who rejects the new stuff ... without trying the new stuff" camp, do you?

The problem is that many of the people affecting the snob attitude are doing so from an ignorant/inexperienced point-of-view.
If you have tried both and have chosen one over the other, then you are making an informed decision. If you reject one, without ever having tried it, then you are ignorant and prejudiced.
