Hello,

A question for the Paramount experts out there. I currently have a '68 Paramount P-10 that is near complete. Yesterday I had no luck in lining up the brake pads with the rims. I have what I believe to be the correct brake set, a set of Weinmann 999/610's. The problem that I ran into was the pads would not match (line up with) with the rim. Even fully extended. I tried both sew-ups and 27" wheel sets. Do I have the wrong set of brakes? Did the 999's come in a longer length? I saw a photo of Aldo Ross' white '67 Paramount on the 2001 Crique photos. What type of brakes are mounted on this frame? Nice bike by the way!

Any help in shedding some light on this dilemma would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
