My general approach is not to bid against friends and CR/iBOB acquaintances on eBay auctions. I can't keep track of all of the eBay IDs though and I don't know what happened to the list that someone was preparing of names and pseudonyms. While I recognize that this practice can suppress the sale price that another CR member might achieve, in general, eBay auctions will bring pretty near top dollar for items if correctly listed, described, and depicted. I also use eSnipe as a tool and have, on occasion, had bids entered over others that bid subsequent to my bid entry to the eSnipe server.

Others may do as they see fit; it is an open market and should be. I won't harbor ill feelings if others use different policies. I do, however, reserve the right to alter my practices accordingly.

I've got a hundred (or so) for the Herse Timeshare Coalition....
