The shop owner was Jack Van Gent, a Dutchman. He advertised in Bicycling! in the 70s. Can't remember the shop name, but the Bicycling! ads mentioned the Flying Dutchman brand. His daughter, Yvonne Van Gent was a common sight at USCF races in the early 80s. Her and Beth Estes were USCF officials. When they inspected your bike, and you failed, you were out of that race. No glue on the sew-ups, and you were really in trouble. CAT 4s really got inspected.

Yvonne was selling off the old stock through that website. Once CR and the BOB list caught on to it, most of it went pretty fast.
