Has anyone heard from Bill Ward? I bought some stuff from him a while back. Is he still in business?

I was a member of this sight for about a month & them got booted for not opening any e-mails for about a week. Anyhow, I am back...

As far as bike I have that would fit into the time frame, I have a Gitane Professional with Columbus tubing and full SR except seat post (essentially a Renault/Gitane team copy), and a Peugeot track bike that I am unsure of vintage. From the info some of you have provided, I think it is late 60's/early 70's. I had been considering a total restore on it, but I now think I just want to get a new (old logo) Cinelli stem so I can start riding it to work. Maybe I'll gradually get the right stuff for it and spring for a paint job & decals at a later date. I've also got a Specialized Allez Comp, but it clearly does not fit this list.

As far as bikes I would like to have, I guess that top of my list would be a Colnago. I remember seeing a red one at a ride I did shortly after I first started riding seriously and falling in love with it. Second on my list would be a 3Rensho track bike. I have always had a thing for track bikes (maybe a form follows function thing), and I remember reading an article about 3Rensho bikes and being impressed with what the builder's philosophy. Can anyone supply with the name of the builder/owner? As far as other bikes I would like to have, I think I had better stop at two for the sake of my marriage!

If anyone is interested in what I was told is a Gitane tandem (no decals on when I bought it), contact me off-line. The captain is 55-56 cm (my road bike is a 54 cm) and is a tad too big for me. The stoker is a mixte.
