The replica of the Wright Bros. model B is the one that would have been the biggest thrill for ME to see ! Thanks for the smile I got from reading about Larry Black's idea that the FlyingRendezvousMailingList was going to be all a-buzz about the fine old bicycle that they'd been lucky enough to fly over . Thanks for the good laugh I got from reading that Larry had been , " passed by an IH combine, a Massey Ferguson with hay-wagon, and a Deere model B. " ! I'm thinking that the ClassicFarmImplementRendezvousMailingList was all a-buzz over Larry's fine hammered-aluminum-fendered J. Taylor !
3.) Thanks for the smile I got from reading that Kiwi-Wayne Davidson was passed by nothing but a , " 2 litre Holden commodore with a noisey exhaust manifold leak " ! ( by the way , that's a General Motors - Australia automobile . . . & the U.S.A. will soon be getting some - the Holden Monaro will be sold as the 2004 Pontiac GTO ! )

5.) So , Brad & I exchanged a couple of e-mails about how the good old U.S.A. can be a bit self-centered , and a bit unaware of other folks in other parts of the World . I mentioned how much I ( here in the state of Kansas , right in the very middle of the U.S.A. ) enjoyed seeing the addresses of folks on the C. R. List who are writing from other continents . I got to thinking about the fact that Kiwi-Wayne is probably correct in claiming to be the Southern-Most C. R. List member . I got to thinking about seeing at least one posting from South Africa . I got to thinking about Brad Orr , up there in Northern Alberta Canada . So !! Just exactly WHO is furthest North , on the list ?? And just exactly WHAT classic bicycles are they waiting for warmer weather to ride ?? Or are they riding and not waiting ?? I know we have members in Scotland . I know we have members pretty far up there in Canada . I know we have members in the Scandinavian countries . But , how's the cycling in Reykjavík , this time of year ? Any members in Iceland ? And is Kiwi-Wayne really the very South-Most member on the List ??
6.) And although a farthest East - West competition would be more difficult , due to the fact that we'd have to figure out where the middle-starting-point is ( Greenwich-England-U.K. ? Berne-Switzerland ? Kansas-City-Kansas ? Easter Island ? ) Let's not forget our members in Nippon ( hi Dennis ! ) . Let's not forget our members in the E. U. !!
