Stevan,

Well this whole thing has certainly gone in some strange directions. Certainly not what I intended when responding to the initial request for opinions on the bike. A fair amount of the weirdness has been taking place off list and I regret that this has ended up taking up a bunch of time being sidetracked by personal interactions. I am guilty of inserting a statement about my personal feelings about "the dark side" of eBay. Worse yet, on this "private list" I made a suggestion as to what should be done with the seller. I will not make this mistake again. Timing was such that this example came up as we were discussing the ups and downs of eBay. By now it is no secret how I feel about eBay. It has both positive and negative aspects. The negative aspects happen to be a pet peeve of mine. I'm sorry some people can't respect my right to an opinion as much as those who advocate the same opinions as their own.

I have taken a second look at the detail shots. I enjoyed the caption. If I took myself that seriously I might have found that "Jerk" bit a little offensive. But it really has been a while since anyone lavished such praise upon me and I found it refreshing. I did look at the photos. I have opinions about them. I took the time to look at all of the other photos also. I will keep my observations to myself so the seller can be free of any influence from any jerks. I have no intention of messing with anyones auction. I only responded to the initial request for opinions.

Something tells me there is something fishy about this whole affair. I'm just going to sit back and let everyone else worry about it. I don't intend to buy the bike anyway. And I deffinitely don't have time to figure out who's who and why in this mess.
