Hey all, I have a set of these brakes, exactly. I think the alum. barrel adjusters resemble G.S. Interestingly, mine too have the bare metal pad holders. Could they be original? Didn't production of these "naked" holders change to the black plastic coated style sometime around 1979 or so, in order to meet CPSC mandates? Also, is the scripted logo not indicative of a later model? Confusion... The adjuster nuts on mine are similar to pics I have seen of Cobalto calipers missing the jewel. There is a definite void of a recess that looks odd to me. Rubber O-ring on adjusters is traditional black. These calipers were on my list of questions to post to the list; how conveeeeenient. Pictures are available upon request. So are the calipers themselves, in excellent condition (nearly unused, looking at the seam on the brake pad face). $60.00 plus shipping, and they are yours. I have no project for them.
