While in Providence, where I first saw the Finest, I also did a lot of cross-country skiing. Wax removal worked well with a "little" heat from a propane torch. I tried this with sew-up glue, and it worked great. Until, one fine day about 73 in Oregon, tried this with my friend's rim. The foam-filled Ukai got very sick very quick, so I learned about plastic-filled rims that way... Did wonders for my reputation as the new expert in town...
