well,
with a long way to go who knows ........
i sold a pale Blue plastic coloral bottle that was in good condition but not new for $116. just 1 bottle with lid. no matching cage offered at the same time to make it more appealing. i wasnt complaining but i was very surprised at just how important it was to somebody. to me it meant MKS track pedals, a slica pump, 2 stainless cages, bartape, 5 pairs of socks and a bottle of very drinkable red wine (not that im picky).
an identical blue plastic coloral bottle with no lid and in rougher condition sold to a different seller in the same auction time period for 1/5th of the price.
both pictured in the below link

so whats the wager? i have one 2002 genuine plastic bottle from A-Bikes NYC (near new) to draw bets in that the new Confente bottle wont pass more than 20% (handicap as its *New*) of the used blue Coloral bottle.
call me a risk taker ;-)
ciao,
ben "never paid for a plastic bottle for my own use" kamen harlem, NYC
p.s. if i lose i will be then able to say i saw a Confente bottle sell for 1/4 of the price of a ready to ride (fully built) Confente in very nice original condition within the space fo 6 months or so. the mind boggles - what can i say?
