They are vibrating cartridge case polishers. Round tubs you fill with a polishing media, crushed walnut shells for real dirty brass or corn cob for a high polish. I've used one for years for my reloading chores, never thought to try it on bike parts. Never wanted to polish my chain either. Richard Borneman Havre de Grace Md.
