Chuck Schmidt's teaser question:
>...why are some of the Campagnolo Record / Nuovo Record parts
>polished and some are anodized?

I'm gonna guess that it is because of the different types of aluminum used in different products, and that some of them would not stand up to or have adequate longevity after an anodizing process. Actually, I think I just read that in the last month or two either on this list or the BOB list.

P.S. I'm sitting in front of my computer looking at bike pictures and CR postings, while surrounded by Campagnolo d.t. shifter sets of different years (preparing a "big" question for the list), wearing my very cool V.R. Campagnolo Rebour drawn T-shirt (bummer for those of you that missed out on Chucks great offer), and loving life as much as one can when it's 20 deg. outside and too cold for a fair weather cyclist to cycle.
