When Drysdale moved his shop out of Manhattan, he relocated to Long Island City which is in the Borough of Queens just across from Manhattan. I didn't realize that he later moved to New Jersey because you could still find many of his older bikes being raced in the '60s and early '70s. And these still had the Long Island City decals. By the way, these races were held on the flat oval in Flushing Meadows that preceded the Kissena Park velodrome (and then later on at the velodrome, of course). Does anyone know if any of those old Drysdales are still being raced at Kissena? Best regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (and still wishing for a conveniently located velodrome, even in my "old age")
