Another option is to buy from a shop in UK which does mail order. If you subscribe to Cycling+, several of them advertise there. Several have web sites and will ship to US with no problem. Paying by credit card eliminates currency conversion hassles, and US buyers don't pay VAT. I've dealt with both SJS Cycles and Edinburgh Cycles, and been well pleased with both. SJS has a very good selection of Brooks saddles.
