I owned a bike with these very straps and clips of the same brand (which have also sold for an exorbitant price, to Japan, when they come up for sale, which is seldom), which I sold awhile back. I should have cockroached the clips and straps and sold them off separately, but I couldn't stand to ruin the originality of the bike...what I pay for principle, sometimes.. ;>

Note that the Paturaud straps of the kind on ebay were very poorly made, and broke or disintegrated from age and use without much provocation....it seems quite likely the reason these straps are so valuable to some people is because--while many must have been made and sold--very few have likely survived.

The clips are similar, they rust if you breathe on them, and the metal is too thin...they probably haven't survived in much quantity either.
