Can somebody tell me if this is truly the first generation record derailleur? Furthermore, is the one being offered not missing the cage fixation bolt?

To the best of my knowledge this is the earliest Record model. I'm not sure what is meant by the "cage fixation bolt," Stevan. On this model, the cage is held to the parallelogram just by the spring lodging in a notch on one of the posts. Later models had a circlip -- and a raised boss on the upper parallelogram base. In my experience, the wear on the screw head at the back of the cage is expected. Not sure if it is the lighting, but sure looks like some significant grooving on the inner cage. I'm curious what it will fetch...
