Perhaps a more appropriate comparison would be the Armstrong bike being offered for $5000 in New Mexico. The Mount bike does not even compare in mojo or historic importance when compared to Armstrong's bike. I think therefore goes to show that the Mount bike can't be worth more than a few thousand, irregardless of what a preofessional restorer believes his work is worth.
