Time Frame - Yes, of course I wish to observe the time frame. Although, often, I don't know the time frame of the bike or components on which I'm curious. (Well, there's a lot I don't know.) To this, I would appreciate a brief advise (even Off List), for instance citing approx. year so I can pusue inquiry in the appropriate venue. Ignoring, deleting or not responding to an inquiry is not helpful. And, I might repeat the darn question ! Richard Cielec Chicago, Illinois OROBOYZ@aol.com wrote:Hey gang:

Thanks again for a 99% good job done by list members in being civil and on topic.

That 1% not-so-good stuff swells now and then, but I see good judgement and taste prevail... eventually.

For those of you chagrined at the occasional slips you spot in others messages, either drifting off topic or slight of the rules, please understand I am constantly behind the scenes, privately delivering "gentle reminders" to prod folks back into the pattern I want.

So you might ask, what are the top slights of the rules/philosophy?

1. Name & City, name & city, name and CITY!!!

2. Prices with For Sale items & no using the list as a way to establish Top Price for your stuff...

3. The time frame is 'up to 1983!' ("exceptions ..... special 'carriers of the flame' & ask the CR list manager first!")

4. Zingers aimed toward other folks (don't do it, no matter how mild you might think it is..)

So anyway, due to the size of the list now, I think it's amazing that you all are doing so well. Keep it up! Thanks! Dale
