Hi Kurt, I had a similar problem on a Raleigh Team frame that I just aquired. A visit to a LBS that also does some framebuilding produced some ferrules that fit perfectly into the cable stops. The stops are the "diver's helmet" style that's more commonly found on the chain stay. The ferrules did the trick! As always, the key is finding a shop with the right knowledge, and the right box of odds and ends laying around.
