I read and enjoyed very much Brian's writeup of the dinner party he and Dale attended. I noted with private amusement that he had confused me with Robbie Fellows in his preamble to the tale. So I sent him a brief offlist email, and unfortunately I think I alarmed Brian, as he may have thought I was offended and dropped from the wait list for the Chrome Donut. Ah, we run the risk of being misunderstood sometimes when we attempt to tease. Sorry Brian, please keep the writeups coming.
In an attempt to make my blatherings relevant to the CR list, I've been planning my summer riding goals, checking with other friends and fellow club members along the way. I hope to be doing all my rides, not just the big ones, on lugged steel this year, and many of them on vintage lugged steel. I am having a little trouble getting the fit and mechanicals right on my mid 80s Scapin but I hope to get that righted soon.
