WHen I was a kid I was proud to own a schwinn
Continental I bought new in 73 GOOD OLE AMERICAN IRON
I could PRESS IT over my head like iron weights and my
friends were very impressed - a guy came up on a FUJI
S10S and we laughed at "JAP CRAP" --then I rode it -
OH MAN THIS BIKE PEDALS ITSELF!!!! --a real eye
opener.
The s10s came from the Montclair "bikery" in a place
that used to be the montclair (nj) bakery and the guy
saved money on the sign- very creative- they also had
teldyne titan- very impressive at the time
