<< ne of Dale's all time favorite builders has another infrequent appearance in the market. Superclean looking McLean/Silk Road bike on ebay. Sport touring geometry, cantis and full braze ons. Looks so good it makes me cry. Seller is original owner, only rode for 6 months before bad back put bike in garage. Too small for me, or I'd have already bought it. For the average to petite size rider, go get her.

I am sorry I didn't get to comment on this as I was away from ye olde computer a week or so.. This bike is indeed a pretty nice one but it has been semi-fudged up to my jaundiced view. I asked the seller why he says it was only ridden 6 mos yada yada when the bike has obviously been repainted. The seller said something about the original paint job being messed up upon arrival at the selling dealer and then he had CyclArt redo it.... Strange....

McLean would never have gone along for that paint job nor the pin striping. AND those are not McLean decals at all.. Maybe Jim at CyclArt remembers this? McLean had a local painter he religiously used and to my knowledge never had Cyclart nor other faraway painters to do his frames.

Also I think I see only two top tube cable loops? That is not a McLean practice either... Who knows what else close scrutiny might turn up...

Still, hard to beat that deal at $600.00! Dale
