And I have to disagree with this. The post-Super Record componenent groups (Record, Croce d'Aune, Chorus and Athena), while beautifully finished, were engineering disasters. They were heavy and didn't work well. Campy lost almost its entire market share as a result of these groups. They were lucky not to go out of business entirely. The C-Record group may become collectible, as the Edsel of the Campy family.

#I have to disagree w/David on this one, as C-Record components seem to be #generating a LOT of interest on Ebay. The C-Record cranks are highly #desirable and many individuals consider these cranks to be one of Campy's #most elegant designs. And C-Record Delta brakesets are certainly getting a #healthy number of bids on Ebay. # #Personally, I wish the C-Record era fell within the current CR umbrella. I #have a lovely 1985 Bob Jackson 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee frameset #w/chrome Nervex lugs and chrome rear triangle that I am seriously thinking #of building w/C-Record, but I would love some detailed info on the early #variations within the C-Record group. There were, what, four generations of #the rear derailleur? And the first Deltas were pulled off the market and #Cobaltos took their place temporarily? Then when did the 2nd generation #Deltas come out. See what I mean? # # #Dave Patrick #Chelsea, Michigan
