Most people have picked up the the tires they ordered a couple weeks ago, and there are a few left if you need some. If you are not up to speed, I have ordered some Mitsuboshi Trimline 650 x 38B tires from Japan for people with French, English, and American bikes that take that size. The ETRTO measurement is 40-584, so they are wider than the French tires you have been able to get lately. They have a nice tread and a flexible skinside wall for a great ride. If you are on the East Coast you can get them from the Listmeister Dale Brown and from Capt. Bike Sheldon Brown, as I have sent some to each of them. Left Coasters can get them from me.
Note these are not the same as 650C, which is the size a lot of small women's bikes and Triathlon bikes take.
