Subject: [CR]Monson Swap Boo Hoo Hoo !

Well I guess I would be in favor of the name tags suggested for the CR members at swap meets. I was at Monson but could not write before now. I met Peter Naiman and Tom Adams but obviously did not leave an impression ;) Also I had my 1933 Umberto Dei displayed and also won an award for best restored racing bike. I met a lot of road folks and a lot that I assume are from the CR list. I was asked a lot of questions about my UD but again it did not leave an impression, oh well! Jim Huntington runs a great show and several years ago when he had his show debute, I was his first attendee/vendor. I have had a good relationship with Jim ever since. I purchased my 1878 Rudge 56 inch hi wheeler from Jim and still ride it around town. Jim spends his own time and money to set up this show and he is so busy trying to keep the fire marshalls and all of us happy each year that he rarely gets a chance to sell or buy. I did manage to get a nice old Campy poster on how to use some of their frame cutting tools, a used Campy Ralley, a handful of shop tools and other bits and pieces. Well I guess I am done belly aching for now. Waiting for the next swap, what is
it Copake! Yeah!
