Problem is I haven't found any strippers yet that will affect the Campy clearcoat in the slightest. I've tried Klean-Strip Strip-X Stripper, Klean-Strip Fiberglas Paint Remover, Strypeeze (original style--says it will remove lacquer and other things), and lacquer thinner. None of these have any affect. Does anyone know what will take it off?

The finish is clear anodizing, not paint. Here's results from the search engine on the CR list archives:

The CR list search engine can be found by going to the bottom of each and every CR list post and clicking on the link that appears there. In the middle of the page that link takes you to is "To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Classicrendezvous Archives." Click on that.
