The above shoe appears to be a reasonable fascimile of the original , , I have a pair of the old 1979 design that Duegi used into the mid 1980s as a transition to the velcro/ synthetic stuff , , still all leather top, but plastic sole that would take either cleat for toeclip, ot LOOK cleat, the shoe has a terrific "tactile" feedback of whats going on during the pedal stroke. . . IMHO, the re-intoduction of this design is a good thing.
