Paul, Check out my bike at: http://members.cox.net/kasha.lists/peugeot/peugeot.html It is a PR10L, one model down from a PX. At home I have the catalog scan for the PX, and can send it to you (2M file, do yo have fast access?). I think i might have something else I can send you if needed.

The bars on my bike are from a 75 or so is PX. The stem and bar are know as atax/philipe (sp?) and both I think are made by the same company, and both are quality. They tend to not be too expensive, $35 should get you a set, they come up on ebay regularly. I also have a french stem and bar from a gitane, don't know the make or model, but it is french, and seems relatively good quality. Could set you up with it cheap if you don't find what you are looking for.

I just redid this bike, so I can probably help you out a bit with advice or more. As can a few others on the list that helped me out alot. Dan Kasha Providence RI
