Hi, Craig and all,

Yes, I have used many occasions, it works very well. If chrome is covered with "RED"-"Brown" color rust, it usually dissolve very well, will NOT damage chrome finish. If the rust is deep/thick, I have to give a little help by hard plastic or brass brush to scrape of some surface rust, then the chrome will turn into "gray" color, it would be no longer shiney mirror like chrome. Or, if the chrome is gone, the area will turn "black" surface which is a stage of "Fe" oxidation which is relative good to protect the steel/iorn material from further "rust".

I will strongly suggest NOT to use steel brush or sand paper for (physical) rust removing action, but use chemical solution to dissolve or change the "RUST"

When I removed/clean rust from chrome surface, I often see small pittings or holes, but again if yo use NAVAL JERRY ( it is mainly Phosphoric Acid, H3PO4) it will creats protection at/around/below the holes!

I highly recommende give a try!
