Hi all

Yes its true I've decided to give up making Hetchins and call it a day, this is no admission that anything I did was wrong, to be honest I just love bikes and cannot be done with the hassle and back biting.

Firstly Mr Peter Naiman, I am NOT a scoundrel, you have never dealt with nor know me, therefore have no basis for your personal insults. Also Mr Naiman, I could not find any connection here in the UK through Hetchins.org/info, why? I shall tell you why, its because they were registered after my Hetchins.com! Hetchins.com was registered on 6-6-2001 and oh yes Hetchins.org etc was registered on 2-11-2001, very odd I would say wouldn't you Mr Naiman?

I never started the company out with idea we'd make loads of money, there simply is not the market for such products, I have stated my reasons before and these are genuine.

With regard to me being a scoundrel, well its fairly laughable given that the Australian Hetchins(although I see he has no hassle making Hetchins and has no direct links) has actually after sending rather stern emails in the past has now actually asked me if I have any lugs for sale and he bears no grudge! Surely by his standards my lugs were fake so why would he want to make frames from then.

Even though I made it plain that I would stop trading (hetchins) I did say to the relevant parties that I would sell my two remaining show frames. I placed the first one on ebay as many of you may well have seen. However a certain individual (mr A M! you know who you are)had personally contacted all bidders telling the frame was not to be bought as it was poor quality.

Phew! well there you have my thoughts on the matter, it is a shame because I thought we did a far better job, can you personally visit Mr Millars shop? doubt he even has one, its not on the .org site. Who builds his frames? who knows, very comforting.

I'd like to say thanks to flash who has been very helpfull.

mark
