Okay, I'm done ! I admit it ! All the amazing Hetchins "eye candy" ! Don't have one, Want one !! Got to have those curly stays !!

The discussion concerning Reproduction's is interesting. Most of you are probably well aware of the recent Schwinn Fat Tire Repro's and the subsequent collapse of value of collectible Schwinn Phantom's because 3000 or so 1995 units couldn't get absorbed by the market. Phantom's MSRP was $3000, many sold but many are still in "dealer inventory" and on eBay you can pick one up (in a box) for $1200 on a good day.

Then again maybe the Schwinn Phantom story is a poor example of what might happen to lightweight collectibles. I guess I can only hope that when my little collection gets a Hetchins which may be only half as erotic as the Hetchins in the collections of Mr. Naiman or Mr. Warnick nobody decides that they can make a few million by selling 3000 pairs of curly rear forks.
