Here's a simile (different from an analogy, but you knew that, right?)

In a lot of ways this discussion is becoming like one I hear in the collector car hobby. Many non-car people know some of the history of the Carroll Shelby-built AC Cobras of the early/mid 60's. Butt-fast car with a V8 stuffed into a little alloy British sports car chassis. Some also know of Mr. Shelby resuming production of these cars a few years ago, using only all original spares (apparently stashed away in some warehouse or something.) Obviously, the assemblers aren't the same kids who did this work in the 60's. My question: are these still "Shelby Cobras" to your thought? Or are they "repros"?

Maybe I can make the question we're debating easier/harder, below is a link to a foto of my 1976 Richard Sachs

Question: If I had Richard build me another one, pretty much like this one, would IT be a "repro"? If I did this and had the two bikes side-by-side, and had to sell one of them, which would you prefer to buy from me? Which do you think would have greater monetary value? Collector value? Mojo?
